mood:

i guess it's quite dumb i broke down in front of my parents considering i have an average CAP.
becos my expectations were raised & i tot having 3 soci mods (of which i really love) will do some good & boost some morale.
But dey didn't and 1 fell below my expectations esp when i love every bit of the module.

like stabbed in the back/betrayed feeling compared to one if u had scored real badly but dun seem to care.

I know i can only emo for this long..
becos at the end of it all, i'll still have to accept dey won't change.

Today is my 3rd day @ flyer & i think i experienced pretty much all positions!
stayed for extra 1hr becos the flyer broke down during the heavy downpour..
soO for the rest of today, all rides suspended.
And we were freezing & hungry & tired at tt tym.

Right now, my shoulders are aching & legs are rather wobbly..
Having sat in front of the comp for the past weeks..
now i wish i can do that again for 1 more day.

omg but i need 2 b up & running again..
more walking~ but i'm glad i got a break (& chance to take nice pictures) from all these troubles (work + skoo).

mood:

woOhoOs! the flyer called ytd soO me and anita reported for work today..
ok it's not a bad job apart frm aching legs & unglam uniform..
apparently aloy tinks i live in some princess world..soO i guess it's quite true, the clothing ain't 'princessy' enough lOlx but i feel it's better than some company who just give lousy tees.

am still rather blur where's where but i know wad dey look like!

did the xray thing (asking people to put things through scanner), did the scanning of tickets & did ushering upstairs.
The ushering was kinda the most boring 1..and today is quite a peaceful day.
Mayb should sign up for ticketing, can just sit there the whole day lOlx..but then it involves moneyyy *shivers*

pple there are rather friendly~
we had a helpful orientation..
supervisor today was also really nice lOlx.

wad's impt is i'm nt bumming arnd @ home..
perhaps now i'm going 2 the other extreme..too tired to do anything else~ lOlx.

yikes!
I went out wif 3 new things and returned with 2.
my heel broke while i was on my way to walking down the steps to the seats..ahhh!
and then shawn had to yank off the other heel so it'll b flats.

me and my shoes are just not meant to be together.
my mum called the shop & dey said we can replace anytime/ get a refund.
After a painful (it lasted 5 secs) decision, i decided to get the refund not cos I didn't like the shoe (in fact it was one of those rare shoes tt gave me no probs..nt even pain/ tireness from walking/ standing for too long) but i noe being me, i'll just ditch the pair and search for another love.

+ she doesn't like me and shoes going tgt.
And i agree i shld stop this silly rampage & be faithful to those who are already there for me.

Movie Accuracy of Death a.k.a Sweet Rain was not as 4 stars as i thought.
But it was funny...some parts were really hilarious & vicki's laughter was contagious omg! lOlx.

Takeshi was fatter (sobx) & older...
but i like the way he portrays his character~

Ratings: 6.9/10? cos some parts were quite draggy & it's a lil boring in the middle parts~ but when it was funny, it really tickles. heh.

Ate @ Hot Tomato Express, a shop i wanna try everytime i walk past PS basement 2...i tot it was ex but yay no!
I can dare say it's cheaper than pasta mania for quite a few main courses.

Pasta is just 1 tiny section and dey've got grills, combos and their signature dishes. All of them were below $10 bucks (except for combos) and the portions were alright..i expected tiny bits since it's pretty cheap for western food.

Value for $$.
Ordered aglio olio with chicken teriyaki steak @ $7.90; really enjoyed it.
Got to upgrade to soup ( of course it'll be tomato), garlic bread & lime juice for $1.50.
and had strawberry cheesecake + brownie with ice cream for desserts which we shared.

zZz i feel lost without the pictures.

Ratings: 8.5/10 i just love the cost!

mood:

weEEEe...we nv bought so much stuff & spend lil money!!!
in total there are 2 bags, 2 clothings, 2 books & 2 shoes @ $247!
without discounts & vouchers, it'd have come to $630 omg.

my spoils: dress was spreaded out (soO it looks pregnant lOlx). in fact i guess anyone can wear it just that the black part will be tighter.

GSS is soOooo lovely~~~

Ate @ the korean stall @ taka basement..
ordered Ja Jang Myeon (zha jiang mian)...yummy!!
The korean man sitting beside us ordered the cold noodle & after he finished eating (cos he kept staring @ me & my ja jang myeon), he was telling us abt this place Dong Bang smth @ Tanjong Pagar that has one of the best Ja Jang Myeon in sg (apparently alot of koreans visit there)...

oOOo.
I love Ja Jang Myeon (both chi + korean version). In fact it's my 1st time seeing it on the menu~

wishing really hard i can get my job soOn.
1 mth is almost gone just like tt ack.

oh great!
despite the million & 1 teeny weeny probs, sentosa was a great day!
it was definitely one of the best days for sentosa outings~
weather was fine, wind was breezy & the shade was ulber goOd teehee.
Didn't realise we took 90+ pics with my dying camera..power!

I was glad we used every item we brought (except the roller skates oOps).
especially the hammock which was rather overused for poseur pictures lOlx.

and yay! i did a last miracle shot @ the bball's 3/2 on 2 with ui & nadya..
haha & aloy can't stop making fun of her height.

it was actually quite a pain uploading those pics on faceboOk ( and spoiling my eyes trying 2 see where's SX in those pics lOlx) but overall some of the pics are captions worthy~ HAHA.

lucky aloysius didn't have facebook (soO he can't know wad's coming out of those pics~)

The water @ Sentosa was conditioning *freaks*
my shampoo & conditioner was gone, i wonder how but then hair was softer and smoother.
i find it hard to believe it's anything to do with the water!

anita was looking like a strawberry after 2 cans of beer + 1 breezer? lOlx..
soO she's the talking loud drunkard & luffs easily type.
oh man..
sitting beside her was quite dangerous @ nite..
she screams out her sentences at times (tiger beer produces the tiger coOl).

It's kinda fantastic how we all can spend our day together when we come from different 'walks' of life~
All our majors are completely different & our schedules clash but we still have things to talk about, jokes to luff about & pple to make fun of~ lOlx.

Like the president says: he feels most comfortable & young when mixing with us~

The only thing tt's binding us is not the fact we come from the same og grp!
But rather how we try to keep contact & continue to get to know one another.
That's what really matters &what keeps our r/s growing!

ohHH finally!
Went with my family for mushroom pot part 2.
Ordered the ala carte steamboat this time..
*burp* not just mushrooms but the usual steamboat ingredients as well~

tho it was a little pricey but it was more worth it than usual steamboats cos they have starters & side dishes apart from the hotpot stuff.

Ratings: 7.9/10 for the mushroOm lOvies
I love the starters & side dishes (1st 2 pages). absolutely yummy!

oOo..was loOking through my folder (literally things about Wee Xi Ying Jasmine)..then i found quite a few cool stuff lOlx.

This is a coin collection by the Singapore Mint in 2000 (Dragon Year + New Millenium). The one in the centre is a $5 coin!

Then I dug up some stuff as to how I got my chinese name (lOlx..it's actually worth $29)

we planned so many things tgt..
sports outing, sentosa, karaoke, dvds etc etc.
i wonder which one of them will materialise lOlx..

shall post my own heE with bed hair (& no i didn't cut my hair short!)

been considering long & hard abt wad i'm going to do next sem...
if i do a minor , things will get slightly more complicated for me..
if i dun, well i'll have to decide wad am i going 2 do with the rest of those UEs.
perhaps i can find pple to take korean lang with me (then again will have to see my CAP score if i'm capable of shouldering it).

in fact i'm still wondering if a minor is that impt after all.
which is kinda silly cos it seems like i'm only doing a minor so has 2 put an extra few lines on my degree paper lOlx..
qn is is tt few lines worth a few more semesters of my time?

am i capable enough to take another lang? hmMm...cos i'm prepared to proceed to level 2,3,4 korean if i like it that much & score in it (after all wad's the pt of 1 mod if u wanna speak & write with it?)

Went to watch Iron Man today..
man..it's goOd! teehee.
I was like a kid..like "WOAH! Look at that!"
and shawn was making loud comments (i was making softer comments)
& nadya was really jumpy over it..
it feels like a family outing lOlx!

Lotsa wow factors..
the house, cars, iron man suit, the intelligence systems o.O

Love the action & story plot & the whole building & configuring thing.

Had Kuishinbo with my family afterwards...
now i'm suffering from indigestion..
this time i focused more on the desserts than the main stuff (altho i did try my usual favourites)
Crab's good as usual...desserts are so delicate (they sort of always change their desserts)..

my exams are over!!!
oh god.
the paper was i really dunno whether to say it's difficult or easy...

firstly hardly of the context stuff came out (except for the 1st qn)
secondly, the other 2 questions is rather analytical & extremely general qns..that has nuttin to do with social psychology but rather sociology~
thirdly, jia hao said the question was actually a reading ( which i didn't read but I did the question cos it wasn't as bad as the other optional question)!!

But it was actually a paper I had time to think & didn't have to rush like mad..
partly is cos the lecturer said not to write long stories (2 pages/qn without leaving lines is enough)

Ratings: 7.5/10

I'm not screaming happy (like crazy shawn) but rather felt a little relieved that i didn't have to prance & memorise stuff!

I was rather lucky today (met taffy along the way for lunch when shawn's phone was shut & sx was only half hearing what I said on the phone lOlx.)

Nm paper was alrite..
ehH but harder than the mid terms ack.
Questions were slightly trickier (or maybe i didn't study in depth enuff)
soO i was hoping 2 get like 45 correct.boOhOo. i guess not.
i overestimated myself hur hur..
from the looks of it i dun tink I can get an A smth..

i guess u really have 2 work double hard 2 ace an MCQ paper.
I have enuff of MCQ papers! grrrr...PTSD from psy paper.

supposed to be reading my reading but decided to pose smth related lOlx.

Why issit that during exams people don't blog, pple dress badly, pple look dead BUT YET pple appear online, pple still slack while studying?

Are they just trying to fit the stereotype of being a mugger?
hmMM...

According to self identity, we perceive the role of the mugger as that & act stereotypical to that identity. For self verification, we match meanings to the situation (this is the exam period) with our identity (i'm supposed to be a mugger) & hence act according...the more similar the match, the higher our self esteem (perhaps of excelling in the exams)...

Is that why people try to adopt the mugger attitude and look?
i'm sure there're tons of 'muggers' out there doing their front stage thing..

Because i dun see how dressing nicely & wandering around the net impedes our intelletual abilities & our study habits.
hmMM..

here's wad cause the above argument:
I watch movies (almost every nite during exam period)..
some anonymous goes with the names of U and I asked why am i watching Charlie & the Choc Factory!!

"What's wrong?"
"Isn't this the wrong period?"

OMG. she's a sociologist & she actually defines smth as 'wrong'.

"Then what are you doing online then?"
"Nothing much =/"

uh huh.
I guess the only reason that can change my thinking "Shldn't u be sleeping early so that u'll wake fresh & sunny the next morning for ur exam?"
tt i agree impedes on one's conc. tho hehx.

There were some other comments about my dressing..uh huh.
unfortunately, i have a reverse attitude (tendency expressed by evaluating particular entitty with some deg. of agreement/ disagreement) about dressing & exams.

I can't dress lousily.
if i do, my mood goes wrecked & i get depressed & then i have low self esteem & i won't be able to conc. well for my exam..
how warped. lOlx.

currently i've lost 1/3 of my will to study..
damn.

mood:

oh crappy.
i tot i had more common sense this time.
but alas, my psy structured i put the term @ the wrong place (even tho definition is correct Zzz) & i wrote evaluative instead of evaluation apprehension..& tt answer was the one i wrote the most.
boOhoOs...

overall the paper is tougher..
heard alot of people complaining abt the structured qn...leaving them dumbfounded. I did too when I saw the 1st & 2nd qn (i only wrote 3 lines for the 1st one lOlx).

MCQ was as usual that sort of standard..
but somehow i thought they gave quite a few giveaway qns where the 4 options are clearly the opposite of what's left..soO yea.
Other than that, the rest are -_-..
i only confidently shaded 74 answers...the rest i didn't wanna risk it. i kinda learnt my lesson..the other time i shaded arnd 82 some nt very sure, some like either or and i got 55 marks..okie forget it.
i hope i'm doing the better thing..shawn will say "you coward! only shade 74!"

Morning emotions paper was real real busy..
1) open book exam
2) 7 structured choose 6qns
3) mostly analytical
4) Max. 300 words each

But one really good thing abt her is that she tells us lectures & notes that are coming out & they did lOlx.
if it hadn't been for psy, I may have spent my day (i gave my emo day to psy) analysing all my stuff before going for exam..bahH. it's over & done with anyway.

Rating for Psy paper: 6.5/10 for its predictability of difficulty & the hope that there's the bell curve working to my favour? If not it'll be a 4.

Rating for Emotions paper: 8/10 for being VERY straightfoward & lots to write about.

I'm already more than halfway there~~~
